STROUDSBURG, PA. – Joe Bonsick, President of ESSA Bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael McCarty as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Leader. Based in Allentown, Mr. McCarty is responsible for leading the bank’s commercial banking division and supporting the growth and success of business clients throughout the communities ESSA serves. He works closely with businesses to provide comprehensive financial solutions that help companies grow, expand, and achieve their goals.  

Mr. McCarty brings decades of commercial banking experience to ESSA Bank, having previously served in senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Regional President, Senior Vice President and Commercial Market Executive, and Senior Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager.

Mr. McCarty studied Finance and Economics at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has lived in the Lehigh Valley for over 20 years.
